Well-known photographer and journalist Barbara Egan initially studied Architecture in UCD before moving to London to do a BA in Photography and Film. In her thirty years working as a photographer, she has wide experience of architectural, interior, studio and product photography.

As an editorial photographer and journalist , she works with a wide range of magazines in Ireland, the UK and Europe.  She contributes a bi-monthly 'Going Places' feature to The Sunday Times Move supplement.

She moved home from Dublin to beautiful Meath Hill, on the Meath/ Monaghan/Louth/Cavan  borders in 2004, although she continues to travel all over the country in her work.
